what do you do if this was you

LeBron James took alot of Heat for the way their season ended, as well as how it began with the whole extravaganza they put on. Later he boasted about how easy it would be once they got on the court. Apparently it is not as easy as he thought it would be. All of this led back to the same questions people have had year in and year out about this guy.

If you are LeBron James, with this off season what do you do take make sure you end up with better results at the end of this next season (if there is one)?

D Professor: I don't blame LeBron. I blame his enablers. People been kissing his ass since he was in 6th grade just to be his homeboy and get a piece of that check. But now he has to take responsibility and get better. My gripe with LB is he holds the ball too long in post, plays hot potato when the jumper aint working. Nothing is there in between. What is it with superstars that they stop going to the cup? I have the perfect recipe/storm for LB and Heat, sign Allen Iverson. He could be the mentor LB needs, especially if he wants to be a villain. Nobody was more hated by white ceos that AI. But beyond that, AI always got to the basket or got to elbow for pull up jumper. Besides that, he will have to play with somebody that is not his friend and somebody that will not be afraid to tell him or DWade they fuckin up.

Ebizz: He must start by going to see the wizard because he needs a bigger heart.

This could in fact, help him play up to his capability in difficult situations. The next stop needs to be visiting Hakeem Olajuwon for some post moves which are most definitely needed in his arsenal. I also think it doesnt help that his whole crew is in his age range. A little bit of veteran encouragement in the form of a mentor could be helpful for all of these young guys entering the NBA. Some cases too experience is the best teacher.

B Reason: The 1st thing "Prince" James needs to do is have a sit down with Nike and have them remove all the crowns from any of his logos... because he is in no way royalty, more like a royal jester if anything right now. Send his ass to The Rucker for a summer earn some heart and learn how to deal with trash talking. He cant get all emotional because somebody talking bout his mama or his baby mama.

KeFarin: I would shut up and play ball. In Cleveland he loved being the hero. Now that he is in Mia, he seems to be having trouble adjusting to being the villain. I thought that he had gotten over the early season adjustments he had to make when he dominated the entire second half of the season and the first three rounds of the playoffs. We saw his entire demeanor change in the finals when the heat faced their first real adversity. Then he start talking about how his haters are gonna have the same problems tomorrow that they had yesterday...
C'mon Son!
Man up, Show up, and Shut up!

USA's new arrivals

As i previously stated, Im here to give us some options to work with in case this lockout lasts longer than expected...

The USA channel gave us a few new shows that seem interesting based off their first episodes.
Suits and Necessary Roughness.

Suits: "In A Legal Mind, one of Manhattan's top corporate lawyers (Gabriel Macht) sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him - a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout (Patrick J. Adams). Though he isn't actually a lawyer, this legal prodigy has the book smarts of a Harvard law grad and the street smarts of a hustler. However, in order to serve justice and save their jobs, both these unconventional thinkers must continue the charade."

Necessary Roughness: which stars Callie Thorne as the therapist to a professional football team

Summer.........

Stalley is the newest member of the Maybach Group that Officer Ricky is putting together. I see him as a good fit with them to add a little versatility. He hits us with a song titled Summer In America, which is also a tribute to the late Gil Scott-Heron. May 27, 2011. RIP...

"The passing of Gil Scott-Heron on May 27, 2011 prompts reflection. His fusion of blues, jazz and soul combined with clear, concise social commentary is at the core of hip-hop’s roots. The longevity of his career too proves something often ignored – our voices stand as long as we wish to allow. Celebration of the Summer is a typical theme of rap music, we’re here again 20 years after Fresh Prince spit happy-go-lucky bars… and we’ll be here again two decades from now. Scott-Heron’s legacy of activism through words and voice should not be forgotten, and neither should the potential to both entertain and teach in the truest sense simultaneously." quoted from http://www.stalley330.com/blog/2011/06/new-music-stalley-summer-in-america-prod-rashad/

Throwback Thursday

Chris Hanson caught cheating by hidden cameras

Chris Hanson has made a living setting up perverts from off the internet in televised stings. Kinda similar to bait car except the "bait" is different here. Except this time Chris Hanson was the one getting filmed. He had been messing around with a 30 year old journalist for a few months now. And got caught on camera by National Enquirer.

Wouldn't all of this had been even that more entertaining if this all happened on the show Cheaters??

Remember that time when Joey Greco got stabbed up

50 greatest rap logos

Complex gave a countdown of the best rap logos ever created. These logos represent a particular artist or group, but also in some cases the logo itself stands alone. Pretty much all of your personal favorites were included on the list....

Which one is your favorite of all time?????

Snap Hat

So you youngsters thought you were on to something new huh?? Only to find out that the "older heads" have been there, and done that before. For this reason I guess I cannot be mad with the re-visitation back to the snap hat era. You guys were not a part of the original presentation of one of the worlds most uncomfortable hats to ever be created. So now is your chance.
Back in the day, it didnt take much as long as your hat matched your outfit, sneakers were clean, then you were fresh. Oh and please believe when that hat comes, off you will have an indentation left on your head pending how long you wore the hat. But things had to go one step fancier with the whole "leave the tag on your hat" movement that took place. smh at who ever made this the cool thing to do.......
But then somewhere out of the blue, the tide shifted..... The fitted cap came thru and destroyed the whole game. And pretty much ended snap hat's career. It had got so bad for the snap hat. To the point where you were gonna definitely get laughed at if you were spotted wearing one...
Now they wanna pull the snap hats back out for "old time sake" i guess. And you wont even get teased for wearing one anymore. But my opinion is that they should have stayed in the past along with the box (hairstyle), the kwame hair dying, and i just cant explain the dudes who nowadays look like they tryna squeezing into some jordache jeans.... you need to quit it. Some things in my opinion are meant to work for that time period only. The fitted will still be here when this fad fazes away.

Here you go some old school snap hat etiquette, by Starter of course.

Poppa Was A Player

Olu Dara is a known jazz musician, and is son is no other than Nas. Olu has appeared on a few Nas songs (Lifes A Bitch, Dance, Bridging The Gap). And of course he had the song Papa Was A Player.....

Nas and his father, Olu Dara. The older musician plays on two tracks of the rapper's new album, and the two appear in a video together. "Actually," Nas says, "I admire his career more than mine."

Here he is getting it in at St. Nicks Pub in Harlem a few years back. Pretty entertaining I must say.....

Impressive Works of Art: Glass Of Wine

Victor Bauer is an artist living and working in New York...

He is got skills with that paint brush as you can tell. The mood I get from his pictures is a real relaxed laid back tone. Almost an "end of the day" feeling when I look at these paintings
